DESCRIPTION:Departmental seminar\, Thursday\, May 7\, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM \n“Circulation of antibiotic resistance in European coastal environments”. \nCI2B conference\, Friday\, May 8\, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM \nAmphitheatre 1360\, André-Aisenstadt Pavilion\, UdeM Campus \n“Deploying the One Health approach at the territorial scale \nFrom the Camargue in France to the oyster farming areas of Brazil\, anticipating health risks in wetland and coastal environments. \nDr. Destoumieux-Garzón’s research focuses on immunity and emerging infectious diseases in marine invertebrates\, on the adaptation mechanisms of Vibrio bacteria against host defenses\, and on the circulation of antibiotic resistance in coastal marine environments. Since 2024\, she co-directs the Camargue Health-Environment Workshop Zone (ZACAM) and coordinates the international project EcoHealth4Sea.
