Il a obtenu son baccalauréat (1993) et son doctorat (1997) à l’Université de l’Alberta et a effectué des travaux  postdoctoraux au Baylor College of Medicine (1997-1998)\, à l’Université de Yale (1998) et à l’Université\nde Cambridge (1998-2003). \nLe laboratoire Harris utilise un large éventail de systèmes modèles et d’approches expérimentales pour comprendre comment les enzymes mutagènes de l’ADN (APOBEC) confèrent une immunité contre les infections virales\, tout en contribuant dans de nombreux cas à l’évolution des tumeurs par le biais de la mutagenèse de l’ADN génomique. DESCRIPTION:Affiche Béatrice Lefebvre April 23 \nAs part of our upcoming departmental seminar\, we are pleased to welcome Béatrice Lefebvre\, M.Sc. candidate in the Le Roux Lab. The presentation will be delivered in English. \nBéatrice Lefebvre’s research focuses on mobile genetic elements in bacteria\, with particular emphasis on phage satellites.
