Dr. Zppa’s research focuses on bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation, with particular emphasis on polar adhesion mechanisms in Alphaproteobacteria. His work integrates bacterial genetics, phenotypic characterization, and functional genomics to better understand the molecular basis of surface attachment. You
