Exploring the diversity of bacterial holdfast polar adhesins fron Québec aquatic environments

Conference details
  • Title : Exploring the diversity of bacterial holdfast polar adhesins from Québec aquatic environments
  • Date: Thursday, February 12
  • Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Location: Pavillon Roger-Gaudry, room N-833

About the speaker
Dr. Berne’s research focuses on bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation, with particular emphasis on polar adhesins in Alphaproteobacteria. Her work integrates microbial ecology, phenotypic characterization, and comparative genomics to better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying surface attachment.
